FSC have released a frequently asked questions document regarding the AAF. Certificate holders are informed that the AAF will increase by 8.7% from January 2024, in line with the IMF global inflation rate.

Focused consultation: Draft interpretation on handling persistent and vexatious complaints
FSC is calling for consultation on a draft interpretation. The aim of the interpretation is to prevent the abuse of the complaint management system and to ensure the continued functioning of the operations and complaints processes as well as the health and well-being of the staff handing the complaints. The interpretation sets the basic principles and clarifies the procedural requirements and consequences so that the approach of identifying and handling persistent and vexatious complaints, can be consistently used by all entities handling complaints in the FSC system. This Interpretation applies to all entities handling complaints in the FSC system (FSC, Certification bodies, FM certificate holders, CoC certificate holders).
Consultation period: 23 October 2023 to 06 November 2023.
