Global-Mark has an increasing involvement in the “Green Certification” field and we believe that there will be increasing demand moving forward. This is not “green wash”. The environmental performance claims are subject to a thorough, independent and competent assessment: the Green Global-Mark (TM) is a true recognition of performance.Our current programs include:
- Forestry Certification: under AFS / PEFC
- Chain of Custody: under FSC® and AFS / PEFC
- Ecolabelling: this is a new program, which is currently offered for building and construction material. We certify using published and transparent ecolabelling standards (at present we are working with masonry and roofing systems). The Ecolabelling program, also includes the certification of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
- Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions: we have two options Carbon Verified or Carbon Neutral, and these can be delivered to a company, site, project or product.
There is a lot of potential and interest in these fields and we look forward to engaging with Clients. For us this is where our profession (Client Managers) merges with our passion for the environment. |
