You may be aware of the due dates for the regulations changes to current and future CodeMark certificates, as per the following:
For work commenced before 1 November 2019:
- Product that is not new to CodeMark – If the evaluation or annual review of an existing CodeMark certificate commenced prior to 1 November 2019, you will be issued the CodeMark certificate post 1 November 2019 but under the pre-1 November 2019 regulations.
- Product that is new to CodeMark – If you are evaluating a product that has not previously been issued a CodeMark certificate, you will be issued the CodeMark certificate under the post -1November 2019 regulations, irrespective of the commencement date of that evaluation.
- Up until the time you receive the certificate template and guidance, MBIE will provide a preview service of your draft certificate(s) to check the certificate against the content requirements in the regulations.
For Work commenced from 1 November 2019:
- If the evaluation or annual review of an existing CodeMark certificate has commenced after 1 November 2019, you will be issued the CodeMark certificate under the post – 1 November 2019 regulations.
- Up until the time you receive the certificate template and guidance, MBIE will provide a preview service of your draft certificate(s) to check the certificate against the content requirements in the regulations.
