ISO 45001:2018 Update

This course is designed for people with previous knowledge and working experience with WHS management system and needs to understand the difference between the previous WHS system and ISO 45001:2018. This course will assist current OHS certified clients to transition smoothly and meet their certification requirements.

Managing Directors, General Manager, System Managers, Coordinators or Supervisors

Course Pre-requisite:
Minimum 2 years of working experience in WHS within certified MS (4801, 45001 or 18001) and working knowledge of legal requirements in Australia. (Experience with act, regulations and codes of practice).

Duration, training and assessment methods:
The course delivery consists of 1 day, face-to-face classroom based work. Classes are small in size and trainers focuses on individual needs of the learners. It does not consist of any assessment items.

Objectives:
– To deliver an understanding of ISO 45001 background and history,
– ISO 45001 Management System Principles and requirements including legal requirements,
– OHS 45001 definitions & objectives,
– Understand the impact and meaning of the changes to the organisations already certified to OHSAS 18001 or AS/NZS 4801
– Transition and certification requirements,

Benefits and pathways:
On completion of the course the participants will have an understanding of WHS based on ISO 45001, the changes and the preparation required in order to transition. This is not an accredited program and does not form any pathway.
