Trapeze technology helps improve rail business effectiveness

The company helps transport authorities and operators with integrated tools to maximise productivity across all elements of their business. Trapeze provides solutions for planning and scheduling, day of operations, fleet and asset management, energy use efficiencies, workshop services, human resources, rostering, performance, and payroll. In terms of transport sectors, Trapeze works across the rail, bus, ferry, taxi, and emergency services industries around the world.

In 2021, Trapeze Group, as part of Modaxo, acquired TTG Transportation Technology (TTG). TTG’s software enables rail operators to keep trains on time, while also minimising energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. TTG (and its former entity, TMG International) has held ISO 9001  certification since 1994 and was awarded certification for ISO 14001 in 2013.  The Trapeze Rail division inherited these as part of the acquisition.

Trapeze went through the certification process with Global-Mark for the first time in November 2021 as we wanted to showcase our company’s professionalism and structure business processes. One major driver was because Trapeze’s partners require Quality Assurance and Environmental Management System certification.

The main reason why Trapeze went through the certification process with Global-Mark was because of the strong TTG connection. Since TTG became first certified with Global-Mark in 2013, an excellent working relationship has occurred. We found the process of working with Global-Mark professional and supportive, this was attributed to the knowledge and approach used by the assessor.  Continuity has also been invaluable. Since first becoming certified, the same assessor has been retained, which has created a great rapport and familiarity with our business.

The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification processes with Global-Mark enabled Trapeze to further refine and improve our procedures and processes – a key outcome for the business. Certification has supported the winning of new business and most importantly ensures that we are delivering the best possible solution, with the highest quality of professionalism in both services and ongoing support. Our customers experience the highest quality and we enjoy this process as it is one of the many initiatives we implement to ensure we are constantly improving and impressing our stakeholders.
