1. Tell me about your company – what industry you are in and what does your business actually do?
We work in the Construction (Manufacturing Industry) and work on a wide variety of Commercial, Residential & Hospitality projects. We are multi faceted and manufacture high end furniture and joinery to a wide client base.
2. Can you please provide some top level information about your organisation, such as size, number of staff, office locations or similar?
We are a medium sized business with just under 40 full time staff with a view to grow this further. We have 2 office locations, 1 in Wetherill Park where our manufacturing facility is based and 1 in Surry Hills where our management works from.
3. Why did you go through certification?
The projects we work on require us to have these certifications and it is also a view towards the future and maintaining and improving our current practices and business culture. We are dedicated to our craft and this is a natural progression in a business sense.
4. How did you find the process with Global-Mark?
Excellent, our auditor Mark was exceptional and not only was he informative but he also clarified items and was responsive to our thoughts and ideas moving into the future.
5. What is your outcome e.g. are you happy with the outcome?
Very much so, we achieved what we set out to do and hope to partner with Global-Mark with more certifications moving forward.
6. Are there any other business benefits you experienced as a result of becoming certified?
It strengthens our knowledge base, adds progressive change to the business and empowers a wide variety of our staff to achieve great things.
